little baby

just reached sch.

saw a couple with a new born baby (assumed. I mean it, er he/she looks so damn tiny. equivalent to the size of my feet...so raw. at most a few days old) on the train. the dad carrying the baby was so proud of 'it'. His little actions and magawatt smile were like telling everyone of us like - see, see my wonderful little child.

I believe, just as when we were borned, our parents were damn proud of us. I believe that they saw so much future and hope in us (er although i think my grandma thought I shouldn't exist coz i'm a girl). But along the way... i wonder if we failed them. Did we make them proud? Seok once said that being a mum is just a thankless job. They sacrificed so much for us. Did we and are we going to do so for them? Basically instead of making their lives better, more often than not we bring them through much more 'torture'... we worry them by not answering their calls when we are still out after midnight, we worry them by not taking good care of ourselves, we worry them by not telling them our problems and shutting our doors on them...

Shall we all start to think twice before we complain that they nag. Think twice before we spend their money but instead earn money for them to spend. Think twice before we grumble and refuse to help them run errands... and turn to them when we need someone to listen to and listen to them if they want a listening ear?

... ...

It's not nice to disappoint people who has so much faith in us.
