As leaders in our own right, it is sometimes too tempting to look at other people’s gaping flaws and to fault them for it. When anything goes wrong, we will be like “its all his/her fault. Its because he/she did this/is like that/etc.” Its easier to blame than to correct, its easier to brush aside than to invest energy to help others. But we are placed where we are for that very purpose, to be exceptional people who value the development and growth of others. To build and to edify, to rebuke and correct in love.

I encourage all of us, to even look for the positives in people, even no matter how difficult it may seem. Especially when we’re still angry/irritated with that certain someone. Only with patience and with forgiveness would we be able to slowly build others up and to develop them into all that they can be. And we must also encourage others to do the same as well.

:) just amazed by people who take time off to type out such words of encouragement and reminders. keep me in check in the midst of my mugging and all. this is only one of the few. n i'm still glad that yh actually take the effort to do up all the uniy newsletters every week. imagine coming up with some inspirational email every week! i seriously wonder how much time and energy he puts in it. salute!
